So much of trade and commerce is being driven by products comprised of an infinite number of 1s and 0s, which are theoretically infinite. Instead of embracing this abundance broadening access to these goods, our current economic system insists on imposing an artificial scarcity on these products so that they can yet be monetized. However, embracing open access culture, or the more pejoratively termed "piracy," would have serious disruptions for hard working artists and workers. We talk about the dilemma and how we as a society might square the circle.
