Donald Trump's poll numbers may look terrible nationwide, but among working class white males--particularly those without a college education. Meanwhile, the American left takes a very dim view of these Americans, viewing them as the unwashed, dumb, racists that are holding America back away from progress. We look the failed policies of Republicans and Democrats vis a vi this demographic as well as look at recent work that attempts to make the case for more solidarity, and less derision, with the white working class.
