This week we are looking back and looking forward. We review some "highlights" from the 2010s. (Spoiler: this decade sucked.) Then we look at how well 2020 is shaping up, with a continent on fire and the US on the brink of yet another very wise and necessary war with zero chance of blowback. (The previous sentence was subtly sarcastic.)
And then, for no good reason, we discuss Star Wars. It's at the end, so if you hate that we talked about Star Wars, just turn it off comrade! Specifically, we're talking about Disney's monopoly and the effects of shameless profit-seeking on franchises that people love. What does a big pop culture event like Star Wars look like under socialism? Who should *own* intellectual properties in terms of pop culture? It's a long one, so buckle up!
