Elon Musk wants to install a few turnstiles on Mars and begin charging admission to a neoliberal interstellar theme park for the mega rich. This sounds bad. We talked to writer Keith A. Spencer about his recent article in Jacobin Magazine, "Keep the Red Planet Red," that discusses the libertarian vision for Martian colonization and begins laying the groundwork for a more democratic and egalitarian form of intergalactic expansion.
